I still want Bunting to go. Tonight's game had the feel of a slot machine turning loose moreso than actual one team besting another.

wow and to think the Heels won it with the defense at the goal line.

I was at my 25th high school reunion tonight - State had just gone up 16-13 and it was 4th quarter when I turned off the radio - most of my high school buddies went to State and one of them told me the score and how the Heels had won it I figured he was pulling my leg.

I still didn't believe it til I just saw the high lights on ESPN.

    GO HEELS!

I'm still in schock - a good game for the Heels with all the ( Toney Baker) recruits ( Toney Baker) in the house that are looking at both schools ( Toney Baker) :xyzthumbs

that was the last time I checked the score. Amato is average at best. Bunting is 3 wins from being bowl eligible. Is that enough to keep him around?

Still in shock after this game. Mistake free football can really win you the game. I just not use to UNC playing this type of game. No turnovers to States 3, and only 3 penalties to 6 for state.

If you went by yards and special teams, State should have doubled up on us in the score.

If and I mean a big if UNC were to become bowl eligible, I think it will depend more on what the overall team picture seems to be. I mean serouisly does Bunting get credit for this game or was it all just a fluke that we played mistake free football?

bunting gets hammered on the losses, he should get a little credit for the wins.

10/16/2004 Utah Salt Lake City, Utah No idea
10/30/2004 Miami Chapel Hill, N.C. Loss
11/06/2004 Virginia Tech Chapel Hill, N.C. Maybe
    11/13/2004 Wake Forest Winston-Salem, N.C. Maybe

Yeah, I think so. 6-5 w/ losses to Virginia, Florida St, Louisville, Miami, and Utah/Va Tech. I think if you'd have asked any realist unc fan before the season and they'd have been happy with that.

The disturbing part isn't our record. Its just disturbing how were were even in the games we lost. But definitely think 6-5 gets him another year.

I agree if he gets credit for the mental part of this past game. I guess over the next few games we will find out if it was a fluke or he actually figured out what he was doing.

Our D still gave up well over 500 yards, imo if we are 6-5 and bowl eligble but our D is averaging giving up over 500 yards a game he has to go.

yep. We did ok vs. F$U, our we didn't get beat as bad as I thought we would. But that really doens't mean much, considering they just had a hard time with Syracuse yesterday. Still think Bunting is gone.
