Now that Wright is gone, what is the likely starting line up for next year.

    Hansbrough C
    Thompson F
Green or Ginyard or new guy?
    Ellington
    Lawson

I just like seeing it spelled out.:operator:

With Wright leaving that frees up a scholarship, right? Is there anyone out there who we are looking at?

    UNC Starting lineup
    PG - Lawson
    SG - Ellington
SF - Green (or Ginyard too close to call)
    PF - Thompson
    C - Hansbrough

Backup PG depends on how the SF battle ends up. If Ginyard wins expect Frasor's primary time to come at SG and Thomas at PG. If Green wins expect Frasor more at PG and Ginyard backing up SG primarily with some time spent at SF. Expect limited minutes for Thomas and Graves. Stepheson will rotate with both Thompson and Hansbrough, and Copeland will see limited playing time.

That's what I figured because we're still gonna be pretty deep. This could leave us really, really young in '09 though.

Kinda expect '09 to be similar to last year. I'm not saying as talented, but similar in age. Good thing is you figure Stepheson, Thompson, Graves, Frasor, Ginyard, and Green will all be there as upper classmen. While none are near dominant, some are capable of developing into NBA caliber players by the time the graduate, and they'll be assisted with young talent in 08 and 09 to help.

Anyone know why Hansbrough hasn't gone? I know it's not because of development or ability or any of that.

Y'all will still go far with Lawson and Hansbrough.

I don't see how anyone can say UNC will be better next year after losing Wright and Terry. You're losing your only outside shooter of any consistency.

Hansblood is what he is. He isn't getting any better and is nowhere near the defensive presence Wright was.

You are counting on improvement from your Frosh just like Duke was this year and honestly, Roy, while a great recruiter, doesn't have a history of players making leaps and bounds under his tutelage.

If UNC gets better it will be because so many other teams got worse by attrition.

So it begins... UNC is only better because dook lost its only good post player and now sucks. Sad when excuses begin in April.
