Rivera was in Chapel Hill today for the pro day, along with 4 other head coaches. Which tar heel is most likely to become a Panther? Austin? Pianalto?

Looks like the suspended kids got to come back for pro day. Austin, Quinn and Little all participated.

Ingersoll graded out in top 10 nationally after his showing yesterday.

Pianalto would be a good later pick up fitting the "new" Panther TE mold.

I haven't heard about Yates' workout but I think he would be a good late round pickup.

Quinn hasn't really been talked about, but would be an interesting alternative for our pick, especially if we traded down a few spots.

Hell yes to Quinn. It would be cool to trade down and get a player like Quinn and pick up a early 2nd rounder.

BTW Mallet article says that Yates' release was the quickest of everybody at the combine. Mallet was middle of the pack. I don't know where Stanzi was - another day two QB I like for the Panthers.

Overall i liked what I saw of Yates last year every time i saw him in action. If you had a strong enough D he might just be the type of managerial guy to Dilfer your team to the dance in a couple o' few years!
Maybe that's just the beer I consumed in the shiny shiny sun talking :drink:

I say yup to drafting our one QB project (if we HAVE to have another one) in the 6th and Yates or Dalton could probably at least beat out pike
