Even without your pseudonym, people could tell that you're a State fan just by how obviously stupid you are. I didn't disparage Wilson. In fact, I said that he was helping State win by avoiding the stupid mistakes their other quarterbacks had been making. But at the same time, Wilson is not a great college quarterback. He's solid, and he certainly put an ass kicking on Carolina, but a lot of that had to do with leaving receivers wide the fuck open. Wilson does look really good for a redshirt freshman and you guys are lucky to have him, but don't act like idiot App fans and overhype your guy like they did with Armanti Edwards.

Who said anything about "every weekend"? You don't go support Alabama any weekend. Look at what you just admitted to earlier. I don't think someone with 25,172 posts can really be criticizing how anyone else spends time on the internet. Moreover, look at how those posts were spent. Take him, our 2-star WR's will run by him like they did ran past the other 3-4 star CB's at UNC. The recruit puts UNC 10 players over the scholarship limit...get rid of Butch first and foremost...recruiting all these great players to get these great recruiting classes then suck on the field, sounds like Tommy Bowden is still in the ACC.

 

Wilson has only completed 55.9% of his passes. That's not good at all for a college quarterback. Actually, Wilson's overall statistics look a whole lot like Christian Ponder's (FSU QB), and most people don't think of Ponder as a good quarterback. Wilson is somewhat better because he doesn't turn the ball over like Ponder, but how does being "somewhat better" than Christian Ponder make Wilson "special"?

No, but it's funny to see you be so sensitive about recruiting rankings. Back when Red Shoes was your coach, you State fans couldn't stop talking about recruiting stars. Now that you don't get those big recruits anymore, you insist that it no longer matters. But to answer your question, what makes a college quarterback "special" is the ability to do what you want with the ball regardless of how the defense tries to stop you. Wilson isn't at that level yet and probably never will be. He doesn't complete nearly enough passes to make State an offensive force. He's still plenty good enough for State to win if the defense plays well and the running game is there, so don't pretend like I'm bashing the kid, but you are hyping him the same way that App State fans did with Armanti Edwards.
