well it probably will, especially going forward. College Football is becoming more and more like an official NFL developmental league. There is a huge NFL influence in the college coaching ranks, as seen by the UNC staff amongst others. The difference between the style of play in the pros vs college has been shrinking for some time. Although there will always be a huge step between the two levels of play, the college ball will continue to try and model itself after the NFL play. There is so much information available today, thanks to the internet, in stark contrast to just 30 years ago. High school kids today know more about the intricacies of an NFL offense than they ever have. And its not like the NFL has had a rash of innovations in recent times. The West Coast Offense may be the last significant innovation in the game. The real currency in the Pro game today is the ability to quickly adapt gameplans to the current personel given the constraints of the salary cap. All the schemes are pretty much there, its just a matter of tailoring the schemes to best fit the personnel one has.

TOB leads 2-0 where it counts and NEITHER game has been statistically close.

I think that Wilson's poise is the most impressive trait to me. He does not get rattled. I agree that teams will prepare for him better but he has all the tools. Smart, very talented, and is a leader. What's not to like about the guy ?

NC State was better prepared and made the plays they had to. Sure, the TO's killed UNC but state literally made those first 2 fumbles happen with great defense.

State played like they wanted it more and that's really disappointing.

Would someone please bench Jordan Hemby? He gets burned on EVERY play! That's not by East Burke side coming out because he went to our rival HS but he surely is getting picked on.

BTW- Russell Wilson sure showed why you guys are giving him so much praise. He made some plays that opened up the game in the 3rd-4th quarters.

Thats fine....seen lots of "stars" laying on their collective asses at Kenan Stadium Saturday. These 2 will be no different in a couple of years.

"Hey Marvin we are running the ball again...See if your big 5 star ass can stop it.....Nope guess not."
