as for paul hewitt, his game plan to take felton away was beautifully executed by his players. roy williams had no answer.

as for the players, GT came ready to play the entire game and was willing to make the neccessary effort needed to win a second tough game within 24 hours. i did not see that for the entire game from the carolina players. this current group of tarheels does not seem to possess the mental toughness needed to compete for a national title.

will bynum destroyed them today. they had no answer for bynum. after may took the first half off he finally decided to play in the second half. nobody else showed up for the heels. i give the jackets all the credit in the world for taking it to carolina. they know what it takes to win the BIG game. they've been there before. they showed the number 2 team in the nation what its all about..........march madness.

bring it carolina or go home.

at least the UNC fans are giving tech some props, instead of blaming the refs, etc.

not exactly true, from what i saw he tar heels may have held only a slight advantage at the stripe. the officiating was not an issue for either team imo. i dont neccessarilly have a problem with losing, but i do have issues with lack of heart and determination. sloppy play in the face of an opponents that was dead-on-balls gonna bring it spells ass whoopin every time.

Tech played a heck of a game.

Sean May only played one half and was owned in the first by Schenscher or whatever.

Nobody could stop a 5'10" guard down low?????

I was looking forward to the possibility of finally settling the score with dook on Sunday. OH well... Go State! :)

Grats to GT, they played a heck of a game and really wanted this game. Bynum was on fire, and tech just seemed to play with more energy.

This team for some reason thinks all they need to do is show up and win or it seems that way. I really hope RW will make sure his future recruits have some heart, fire and determination to play. UNC just doesn't play smart ball at times. When the shots are falling, you have got to play the rest of your "A" game.

Grats again for GT and beat dook tomorrow!

I was really hoping UNC would win it all. They may still make a 1 seed in the NCAA but it probably won't be in the east, which would practically be home court advantage.
