UNC game!

UNC continues to prove my point that Duke could beat them any day of the week with shit-heads like McCants and May. Havin Felton back when you guys start the ACC season only means that you'll lose like that to good teams. Good news is Sean May actually scored in this one, but let's see how Sheldon does, considering he has scored at least 24 points in all 3 pre-season games.

 

I listened to the second half on the radio while returning from a football game last night. UNC only trailed by three at the break, its was ALL Santa clara from then on. Right now UNC plays NO defense, has NO shooters and NO team chemistry, NONE. If you're ranked 4th in the nation (and 1st by some) and you cant beat Santa Clara then GO HOME. Good Lord that stunk!

You noticed UNC cruised in the pre-season as well, so not so sure I would talk a lot of shit at this point if I were you. Yes, UNC should have beat SC even without their star PG, but this is a totally different team without him on the floor. He is their only real leader, one of the top two PG's in the ACC and top 5 in the nation. One thing any team has to have is a PG that can play good.

I do question Williams starting QT, I just think that was a mistake from the point of it being his first real game, in his home area. You had other viable players you could have started, I would have rather seen Scott or Miller start, both have the experience, then bring QT in to sub and see how he responds.

I I thought Jawad should have stepped up and been the leader in Feltons absence as I think that should be his role since he is the best SR on the team.

I am not happy about this game, but not really concerned either, it is one game and Felton didn't play at all so I think this should do more good than harm with the hype that so many have given UNC.

And yes, KJ, I don't think anybody has said no way duke could beat UNC, just that overall UNC is better and should beat duke. Of course on this day they probably would not have for sure.

 

I was saying no way UNC could beat Duke with just shitheads like Rashaad and May. But even with him, they lost 3/4 games. And one was BS, Jones made the shot before the clock expired, should have gone to OT.

 

Jones did not make the shot before the clock expired. Even I as a Duke fan can admit that (after watching the replay 50 times).

If Felton was the only reason you lost this game, you guys better be sacrificing virgins (you may have to go to Durham to find one or just use Dukey) for him to stay healthy.

 

I hate it for you folks that don't push Carolina down our throats everytime somebody on the team farts. I've been there many a year. Maybe the rest of you will be more humble about things from here on.

No, look at what I said, I said Duke would cream UNC anyday without Felton, meaning I think Rashaad and May are even bigger turds then normal when Felton is absent. Although, yes I do think we will win this year, I'm not gonna jinx us by saying that yes, we will deffinately win.
