    Carolina will play home games against Wisconsin, Utah, Boston College, Maryland, Virginia and Duke, and road games at Georgia Tech, NC State, Miami, Virginia Tech and Louisville.

    Last season, North Carolina faced the most difficult schedule in the country according to the Sagarin rankings. The 2005 slate features seven teams that were ranked in the top 25 of the final Associated Press poll, including No. 4 Utah (12-0), No. 6 Louisville (11-1), No. 10 Virginia Tech (10-3), No. 11 Miami (9-3), No. 17 Wisconsin (9-3), No. 21 Boston College (9-3) and No. 23 Virginia (8-4). The combined record of Carolina's 2005 opponents last season was 87-43 (.669).

    Sept. 10 at Georgia Tech----at GT, we probably wont win, L
    Sept. 17 Wisconsin ---------tough Badger team, we'll pull this one out W
    Sept. 24 at NC State -------State gets revenge with Toney Baker, L
    Oct. 1 Utah ----------------at home and new coach, we win, W
    Oct. 8 at Louisville ---------we got destroyed at home, they'll beat us L
    Oct. 22 Virginia ------------VA is good, we lose L
    Oct. 29 at Miami -----------revenge again for the Canes, we lose L
    Nov. 5 Boston College ------revenge for us in Kenan we win W
    Nov. 12 Maryland ----------MD dissapointed last year, we can win this W
    Nov. 19 Duke --------------no question, we keep the bell! W
    Nov. 26 at Virginia Tech --- My suprise upset, we win in Blacksburg W
