UNC fans crawling out from under rocks

    Wow, Louisville not in your top 6 or Mich. St.?

    Not sure I would say dook had the toughest and UNC had the easiest, but would agree that dook had a tougher in conference schedule, with UNC having a tougher OOC schedule. But dook didn't really stumble against the tougher teams, it was Va Tech and Maryland that gave dook problems.

    Regardless, the regular season title is harder to win than the tourney title. You didn't even have to play the two best teams.

    So in your mind, how can one claim to be the undisputed best team?

    Only a few teams I can name truly can. The undefeated Indiana team. UNLV, Houston, definately a couple of the UCLA teams. Winning 37 games is a good start but isn't the end all beat all if you are in a bad conference.

    I do know a tournament isn't the ideal way to prove it.

    The 83 UNC team was the best in the country that year. Hell, it might have been one of the best ever.
