lets see ,in 82 UNC had the lead when Georgetown turned it over with about 6 seconds to go....wheres the scandal

in 93, UNC had a 4pt lead and Chris Webber traveled , went uncalled, so he picks up his dribble and calls the TO he didnt have. still time for Michigan to try and win....wheres the scandal

once again where is the scandal

And you can't show me that had any affect at all in the outcome of any game. Its all horseshit. Put stock in any of it or all of it. People are going to pick and choose what they want to believe and there are just as many people out there who think UNC titles are as tainted as Dukes, if either's were.

Sorry Fever, those comments were valid and have nothing to do with what has been said in this thread. You trying to tie the two together is quite amusing and shows a fundamental lack of logical understanding.

In other words, the best teams being in the tourney doesn't guarantee you play them. Which you didn't, except for one, this year.

No question that Duke was not involved in any questionable activities in '91 if any occured. No one has ever made that assertion.

Among many in the biz, the thought is that the game was a point shaving gone bad and Duke took great advantage of it and kicked their asses.

Well then. What was the spread in those games? How about Ewing scoring 6 pts for UNC in 82. Not getting the tying shot even off is certainly suspicious.

Sure I can. You can influence the likelihood of a team reaching the final four by setting up the teams it has to play. I am talking about that and you are trying to talk about games played on the court. 2 different things.

Did they change the rules to allow for a one point field goal and I missed it?
