UNC fans crawling out from under rocks

People choose what school they go to for various reasons. For instance, I was accepted to UNC, NC STATE, ECU, and UNC Wilmington but went to a private school in my hometown because they gave me a free ride. I pull for that school but it's an NAIA school and the basketball isn't all that great. I went to grad school at Charlotte and thus the reason I pull for the 49ers. BTW, I grew up a Heels fan and switched after I started attending Charlotte.

 

Sly, I don't think a single person here really cares whether or not they have your respect. You don't show respect to others so having yours would be meaningless.

That is just lame to argue when somebody says "we" when talking about a team they pull for, I am sure that person has somehow made themselves think they actually played for that team.

Lame is thinking you are special for pulling for a team you arbitrarily decided to pull for that just happens to win the NC and then saying things like "How you like US now" and "WE are the champions". I can say we are kicking your ass. We did this year. Last I checked you didn't beat us to win the NC. We still own you over the last 20 or so games. Not even close. So you aren't and won't be kicking our ass in the immediate past or future.

I didn't say I saw anyone get their ass kicked, I said I saw people bitching about other people wearing Duke gear at Chapel Hill.

So, basically, your whole argument is that it's okay to be a bandwagon fan, just so long as you become a real fan? Then why hate bandwagon fans at all? I'm a Charlotte fan because I attend UNC Charlotte, no other reason. If I had gone to Chapel Hill, I would have become a Chapel Hill fan. If you don't go to a school or have any other connection to the school other than they win, how does that make you anything but a bandwagon fan? Who cares if you stay a fan through the rough spots?

I plan on supporting whatever grad school I attend, even if they suck, because they are my teams. I will always be Charlotte first.

 

Talking about the past again, I thought prior to this year you didn't like it when UNC fans did that? "We" beat your ass last, enough said on that one. You are right "we" didn't beat you on the road to the NC, your team wasn't good enough to get in our way, period!
