    thanks for the replies. i talked to a guy who has a friend in the economics program and he said they are starting phd programs in the fall for econ and finance.:confused:

    i'll have to check this out some more...

    I just got out with my MS in econ in Dec., and i heard of no plans to add a phd program to econ. However, I do know that the MS in Finance (which I think will be the only degree of that kind in the state school system) is coming soon....either in the fall or next fall, i believe.l
