vp, as usual, you are wrong:D . The numbers Fever is using are "power ratings"....in other words, it is that site's own forumula (similar to sagarin) and not the true unbiased RPI rank. That is actually a good site though, it has both RPI and its own power ranking. :)

to paraphrase you, "do you just wake up and think of outlandish things to post? because you're damn good at it":D :p

fever, just for future reference, that site you gave is a good one. But here are the proper rankings the NCAA use (rpi), and the power rankings are just that site's own formula. from the same site, here is RPI

now for the avg final rpi (from your site) of UNC and UNCC best 3 OOC opponents:

UNCC: syr 2, ala 47, so ill 38 (avg 29)
UNC CH: ku 1, ill 17, uconn 24 (avg 14)

still a difference, but not your 31-9 difference (from same site)

    also check www.collegerpi.com

Metro, either way, we play tougher teams and I think that was the main point. Remember you were the one that said your schedule was tougher than ours.

I am sure we could find 1000 sites that would have a little closer rank between the 2 and some that would have a wider rank. Either way there is a pretty nice difference and all of them say UNC's schedule is harder.

Also on same said site you need to see which year you are checking as well.

fever, both the collegerpi site and the Greenfield rpi site I gave you are final 2003 rpi rankings. There is no such thing as a rating for this coming year. please... :D

If you really want to see who's scedule is supposedly better. Look at the total RPI of 2003 for EVERY OOC game. Even still, it is not a prediction of this coming year.

Anyway, tell Roy to grow a set of nads and call Lutz if he wants to improve his RPI, we finish an average of about 39 the last five years, and all those cupcakes you scedule will hurt you when you're on the bubble in 04! :D

Where did I say anything about this year? That site has like the last 4 or 5 years listed. I sure wonder what you read sometimes.

I know...but what the hell is he arguing about. He's putting up all these stats and it still don't prove that UNCC has a harder schedule.
