I had thought Bonner won as well Reb. They both gave a good fight. I'm glad both of them got contracts as well. They both deserved it.

    yes, it's repeating right now...

the only match worth watching was the one about to come one between bonnar and forrest. Too bad kenny lucked his way to the finals. He was getting owned by lebon on the semi final match until he landed the elbow to cut lebon. This match against diego could have had a better matchup.

That was fucking awesome. It was kind of nice seeing 3 different types of matches (one brutal asskicking, a slug fest, and a back and forth where one guy gets caught), but the Griffin/Bonner match was the best by far. I thought Bonner could have been the winner, too, or at least a draw, but the second time I watched the fight I could see how they could give it to Griffin. They must have gave him the first and third rounds, cause he got beaten and damaged in the second. It was cool they did the right thing and gave them both contracts. Makes you wonder if Liddell/Couture can live up to the excitement...

I thought BOnner won also. I'm not sure either one are good enough for ufc though. Rich franklin is a badass.

Griffin kept turning hs back to the fight and walking off when he would get caught a real good lick, Bonner never did that. That is the only reason I give it to Bonner. Great fight.

Shamrock kept slipping for some reason. I thinks he's to old for that shit and I hate to say it. :)

I think Shamrock is fine. It seemed like the kick was in response to a similar kick that Franklin had just landed, like he was trying to show him he could match his skills. Then when he slipped, Franklin was all over him like he should have been.

If all 3 rounds of the Griffin/Bonner fight had been combined into 1 round, I would have given it to Bonner for landing more punches and doing more damage overall. I could see how he could have lost 1 and 3, though. Griffin was pretty active with his knees. I tend to think Bonner will go firther in the UFC because his chin is tough and he's got better submissions and can still box. Griffin's "tough and crazy" schtick might be too easily outmatched in the UFC. Both great personalities and good faces for the sport though. They are brilliant at marketing this thing.
