Really sad day. Not sure if they are making the funeral public or not but he'll be buried right next to his dad in Sanford and Uga VII will make his debut on August 30th. At least the next Uga will be able to run out and lead the players on to the field. Uga VI tore his achilles when he was little so he just waddled out after the players to his dog house. Had a friend work in the hotel where Uga's hotel room was and he said they had to give him like 15 million tranquilizers and shots on gameday and picture day just to calm him down.

Is nine years normal for a English bulldog? I've always loved them but that seems young for a pampered pet to die.

A good friend of mine has a female named tinkerbell. They had to give her a chew toy to keep her from chewing the furniture. They gave her a 3' 2x4

According to the Univ. of Georgia's athletics website, funeral & interment services would be private. However, UGA VI would be interred in a marble vault in the southwest corner of Sanford Stadium along with his predecessors. Also, a successor for UGA VI has not been named, according to UGA owner Frank Seiler.

Well Gee whiz Sherlock, nothing ever gets by you....I wonder, do you know UGA V & VI's real names before being coronated? The name of the soon-to-be UGA VII has not been named yet, which is what I was talking about. We all know its going to be UGA VII following the coronation.

    If it had said...

...then I'd see why you would be upset at my post. As it is, your subsequent reply just makes you appear to be extra-sensitive.

What I said originally came from the report. So go yank the chain of the person that wrote the article. The only reason I care about this is that my pastor had an english bulldog that came from the litter of one of UGA V's daughters. He paid quite a price to get that bulldog.

As for UGA VI....He will be buried tomorrow at 3:00 pm in the southwest corner of Sanford Stadium along with his five predecessors. The Seiler Family & The Georgia Athletics Association will announce a successor at later date. The Seilers do confirm that the lineage of UGA is secure.
