    I think Boston College would beat Florida, and I don't see Tennessee currently being that much better than State, Maryland, or Clemson. They're more talented, but they aren't playing better. Unless Georgia gets extra credit for playing Boise State (who nearly lost to Portland State this weekend), I don't see how anyone could argue that UGA has a tougher schedule than FSU.

    Honestly I don't think either team has truly earned their ranking on the field yet, and it's possible that neither team will have to at any point this season.

    FSU's schedule is freakin terrible! After Miami the only ranked team they play till the end of the season was BC who didn't even have their starting QB when they played them and they still almost won. If Clint Porter is in that game, BC wins. Speaking of barely being up late in the game. Wasn't the score 20-17 against Wake Forest in the 4th Quarter, and Wake is terrible. They couldn't even beat Vandy at home. Between BC and Florida they play 6-8 mediocre at best teams who aren't ranked until they play Florida, and then VT or Miami in the ACC title game. And like it or not, if Boise State beats Fresno State there is no way they won't be ranked. I agree that their conference sucks, but on paper that's another ranked team UGA has beaten. From the Tennessee game on UGA will play Tennessee, Auburn, Florida, and if we win the East (Which will almost certainly happen if Florida loses to LSU this weekend) then we play Bama in the title game. If not Bama, then LSU. I agree that Tennessee is having a down year, but look at their schedule. They have Florida, LSU, Georgia, Alabama, and Notre Dame in almost back to back weeks. They are playing a third of the top 15 teams. I think people are also giving Notre Dame too much credit. I love the Irish and their gloried past and hope they beat USC this weekend, but honestly. Who have they beaten? Their signature win is against Michigan, which doesn't look like that big of a deal now and they lost to Michigan State who is better than them. I guess it's cause they've kinda sucked for a while so everyone is starting to jump on the Charlie Weis bandwagon. Seeing UGA in ahead of FSU in the new Coaches and Harris Poll makes me feel a little better though. I guess I'll have to be cheering for Miami against VT...god I hate Miami.

    You're clearly looking at this through homer glasses.

    Miami > Tennessee
    Florida = Florida
    Boston College > Auburn
    Maryland > Boise State
    N.C. State = Georgia Tech
    Clemson > South Carolina
    Virginia = Arkansas
    Wake Forest = Vanderbilt
    Syracuse = Mississippi State
    Duke < Kentucky
    The Citadel = Louisiana Monroe

    And you might want to check this out.

    Auburn would absolutely beat the crap out of Boston College the way they are playing now. I don't know what that team was against Tech, but if anyone's seen them play I'd say they are playing better than Florida and LSU. Miami is one of those teams (like Tennessee this year) who was pretty much put in the top 15 because of their past. Miami under Coker (without Davis' recruits) hasn't done nearly as good in recent years. They will show their true selves when they have to play Virginia Tech. Is the Citadel even a D-1A school? They play Florida, but I guarantee you, in fact I will put one hundred dollars down on Leak and the Gators beating FSU in Gainesville. As for that article, I read it earlier in the day. My roomate was reading it and told me about it. He just sounds like he's on the Brodie Croyle bandwagon, and by the way, Shockley has the #1 QB rating in the SEC, and that includes Brodie Croyle. Our defense has only allowed one touchdown in the first half all year. Greg Blue is just as good, if not better than Thomas Davis. I have come to the realization that if Texas and USC are undefeated, then there is no way that any other team will make it to the title game. Even if UGA or Virginia Tech runs the table. Which i think sucks because USC plays in a conference with no defense. If they played an actual defense and were in a conference like the SEC or ACC then they would probably drop at least one game. Our running game also put up 200 yards on Tennessee. We just don't have a standout runner really because time is split between Kregg Lumpkin, Danny Ware, and Thomas Brown. I think Brown's done a good job. He missed one game and Ware got the brunt of the carries for over a hundred yards. We might not be the flashiest but we have one of the best offensive lines and secondaries in the country, a pretty good QB and running game. Been dissapointed with the front 4 kind of, but if you look who David Greene had to throw to in two all-Americans and who Shockley has to throw to at WR (Massaquoi is now are #2) and I'd say he's doing a pretty good job. the only good passing defense FSU played against was Miami and Weatherford looked absolutely awful. FSU does have a great defense though. I know we won't get that much respect till we beat Florida and Auburn but this team is definitely more unified and determined than last year's team.

    This is one of the strongest years the ACC has had because of the three big East teams being the #1,3,4 teams in the conference. The original ACC is still bad. VT always has some weird years. I remember them last year not being expected to win the ACC and then they win the conference, and the year before they were being talked about as maybe the second best team in the country before falling apart at the end of the season. I think that if they beat Miami they will definitely get a BCS birth.
