Heard their new song, "Electrical Storm" the other day. I didn't know for sure it was U2. I thought the dude sounded like Boner, but I didn't think the rest of it sounded like U2. Anyway, Morgan confirmed for me last night that it was indeed U2. I've always been a fan, and they put on a hell of good show, but I ain't sure about this one.

It was earlier this year or last year that they said they were going to get back to their roots and create some newer music that emulates that... from your post I guess it sucks. :)

i just listened to it and, to me, it sounds like a track that didn't make it onto "All that you can't Leave Behind". Which I think is a top notch album. I thought the song was good enough. I liked it.

    My top 5 U2 albums

    War
    Joshua Tree
    ATYCLB
    Actung Baby
    Boy

Upon much further review, "Electrical Storm" is actually pretty good. You were right Bunky.

    hmm... didnt like it...however...

my opinion is not gonna be good. see, i expect a lot more from them. i like their previous works. those that bunky posted. i go by that, and it is not cutting it.

if i listen to it more...or hear the same tune i didnt originally like in a different surrounding, i sometimes find myself appreciating it better. weird, but that sometimes happen.
    :D

Bunky (and anyone else), I am pretty big U2 fan and have a bunch of bootleg live stuff from when I lived in Prague. I also have the recorded sessions from when they were craeting Achtung Baby. Let me kow if you're interested.
