When it is UNC Duke it doesn't matter who is on the floor. 95 proved that.

True anything can happen with these two teams. That will have to be the case if Lawson can't go, a few people will have to step up and QT will have to not kill us.

We all know that he is going to play, and I bet he isn't hurt as bad as UNC is letting on, and then ESPN will talk about his heroic play after he does a good job.

Roy's already said that he's not playing. And unless he's 100%, he shouldn't be. I hate dook as much as the next guy, but this game isn't worth risking the season for.

Couldn't agree more. If it was Paulus with a bum ankle I wouldn't want him to play if he was still hurt, and I think Lawson is probably more valuable to his team. Ankle sprains are things that can linger/get reinjured easily so you want to be very careful with them.

A good player would play through the pain

It's been reported that he doesn't have a high ankle sprain for a couple of days. He's playing, and he's not as bad as the UNC coaching staff is saying.

No decision has been made if Ty Lawson will play tonight against Duke. He did participate in the team's shoot around this afternoon, but a decision on whether or not he plays will not be made until just before the game.

I just read on another message board where Lawson is out for tonight's game against Clemson...can anybody verify that?

If so, I would rather error on the side of caution. But that said if this condition lingers past tonight this could be bad news for the heels.
