    Correct, the scenes are part of the movie.

    Oh! Well that is certainly different than what i was thinking. I was thinking of all those "director's cut", "special edition" versions that come out later that have a few extras in the menus. I hate those things b/c the movie companies are just trying to profit twice from the same movie. And I never end up watching the extras more than once or twice. Now, if the extra scenes are in the movie, then that is cool as hell and I guess they are worth extra money and waiting time.

    Yep, depends on how big of a fan you are of something. I know for sure I will be waiting for the later release. LOTR series have to be in my top 10 if not 5 for favorite movies of all time.
