A new USA Today/Gallup Poll has found that two-thirds of Americans say creationism is definitely or probably true.

The poll also found that by a margin of more than 2-to-1 more Americans believe creationism is "definitely true” as opposed to those who believe as strongly in evolution.

    ......

Although the creationists racked up the highest numbers in the poll, the evolutionists made a good showing — with 52 percent of those polled saying evolution is definitely or probably true.

Makes sense to me. There are a lot of people out there who will say they believe in things that don't fit, just because it's what they've heard, or because they want to be accepted. Or both.

To me, I don't give a shit about either 'theory'. Yeah, it is human nature to try and find out where we came from, but in the end does it make all that much of a difference?

If they prove, without a doubt, one theory is right. So what? Will more people go to church, will more people not go to church? Silly.

Maybe we all should worry about where we are going rather than where we have been.

I'm pretty sure a least 2/3 of people used to think the world was flat also. Just sayin, it's a little silly no matter which side you believe.

I'm figuring that a good number of those polled are probably talking out of both sides of their mouths, if ya know what I mean.

It matters because if you believe Divine Being CREATED you in his image life is more sacred...otherwise it's just disposable, like we seem to treat it right now.
