two things i don't get in the nba...

jump balls never reach their peak before one of the players taps it. never. why do they bother?

moving screens are called maybe 1 in 10 times and they're clearly moving and it's totally out in the open as part of the play. strange.

There are a couple things that bother me as well.
    1. There was a violation at one time called carrying the ball that seems to be the norm for a couple of decades now.
    2. The "Eurostep" would have been called traveling back in the day, now it's just considered talent.

college bball is much better for me

NBA is so loose with the rules and their application between "stars" and others.

have not watched since late 80s

Jordan, Bird, Magic years were pretty good

i don't think the eurostep is a travel except when they jump from foot to foot. giannis does the same thing with his normal moves -- he takes these giant "steps" in this very exaggerated slow move where he jumps off one foot then lands and jumps off the other. usually while he's plowing thru people. dunno why those are allowed. i suppose because it's his signature move. refs don't tend to call things they've seen over and over.
