Are there any shows worth buying on DVD. I mean if you have seen it before why bother? It's not like a movie

I think there are a few worth buying. I own all the Family Guy box sets. I own both of the Chappelles Show. I also have Arressted Developement and Titus. I rewatch them quite a bit.

I think there can be a few for sure. Depending on what you like to watch.

But if its a TV show that you watch reruns of, then DVD sets of it would be good.

I've always wondered why someone would buy Seinfeld DVDs when they are on tv all the goddamn time.

Personally I enjoy watching T.V. shows on DVD a hell of a lot more than movies. Movies take too long, and I tend to enjoy television more anyway. Being a geek, I have all of Buffy (great show), Angel (mediocre show), and Firefly (good show). I also have Chappelle's Show and Keen Eddie, which had the potential to be the best comedy on television but was prematurely canceled by Fox. Brain's thread caused me to start getting Smallville as well (Kristin Kreuk = *drool*), and I'll probably get South Park and Arrested Development at some point. I plan on getting Homicide at some point as well, but that's a little lower on the priorities list. It's awesome to just sit down and watch a favorite episode over 25 or 45 minutes instead of having to commit two whole hours to a movie, plus you get a hell of a lot more viewing time per $.

I have the couple seasons of the X-Files, and I think they have all of those out. I never saw the first season of 24 so I just went back and forth to Blockbuster to get them. Ended up costing half as much than buying it. I probably wouldn't watch it again if it sat on the shelf. I also have this whole years worth of Without a Trace dvr'ed. Sorta of the same thing I guess.

I've got all 4 seasons of Smallville on DVD and the first 2 Family guy DVDs (3 Seasons). There's a new one out, but I've gotta see if its a Christmas gift before I go out and buy it.
