SOME COWBOYS WORRY ABOUT NEW TURF

The word in Big D is that the new playing surface at Texas Stadium could be a big problem.

Though many players think the new surface is "okay," some players think it's "sticky," which could cause leg injuries if players get caught up in the stuff.

I get a laugh to watch Dave Campo trip his fat ass on that stuff when he runs onto the field... :D

The U of Iowa has a similar surface on their new outdoor practice facility. Ran around on it a little a few months ago and it has some stick, and it was wet at the time. It's real cushy though, like a wrestling mat.
I'd say those surfaces have more give than some grass surfaces.

I think I will have them come install that real grass stuff on my yard. Think of it: a perfect lawn all year round! No watering or mowing! The perfect yard!:D
