    The coaching changes continue. Tommy Tuberville out at Auburn. The guy beats Alabama 5 straight years ,wins a SEC championship, goes undefeated one year, and he's gone. Good football coach! If Leach is going to leave Texas Tech the plains of Alabama might be the perfect spot for him IMO.


    Auburn should be ashamed.

    Auburn AD is saying today he was "shocked" when Tuberville quit. I don't know the AD but I find it hard to believe he was "shocked". Tub is a damned good football coach and a lot of the people in the Auburn family had it out for him for years. I hope the Tigers go in the tank so they can come to the reality that they "had" a good coach.

    he got fired. do you really think they would pay his $6 mil if he quit?..this is almost about as bad a cover up as when they got caught flying up to get petrino.

    the dude tried the spread and they struggled this year. otherwise, he did real good in his 10 years there despite a bump in the road. i guess they'll make a play for Leach at TT.

    I agree. Tub was never popular amond some of the alums with deep pockets. It's hard to say why, maybe he didn't kiss enough asses but the guy is classy and can flat out coach. They will not get a better coach regardless of who they get. You're right, he should have told them to shove it when they pulled that stunt flying to Lousiville in the dark of night to woo Petrino.
