How do you try to run out the clock with a running play to the short side of the field? Wouldn't a smart coach run to the wide side so the ball carrier can be tackled in bounds, thus forcing them to use a timeout? Why don't you throw a fly pattern on 3rd and 5 when the worst that could happen is an interception that is the equivalent of a punt? Why do you blitz a veteran QB on 4th down and leave a 5'10" safety to play against a 6'2" receiver? I can guarantee Jason Campbell isn't the answer at QB, but we have absolutely no shot at Chris Leak, no matter who is coaching? or do we...

Being an Auburn fan and graduate, the best thing that can happen is Alabama wipes the field with Auburn again, just like last year, so we can get a coach in their that can win games and represent the University with pride. Finally, you got a class coach in Franchione, keep him around.

Tubs is not bad. Just kinda stupid sometimes. If he cant win next with the studs he he will have in the backfield then he needs to be canned.

    BearBryant,

He changed coordinators this year, tried to make a renewed emphasis on defense and the run game, but allows brain dead errors of judgement and talent to enter the equation.

How do you not get a team ready to play after a bye week, like Arkansas?

If you have a 2 QB system, why is Jason Campbell still playing in the 2nd half with 3 picks?

How do you lay down against Alabama at home by 24 points?

He is past stupid, all the way to ignorant. Heck, we can be 7-5 with Wayne Hall, Bill Oliver, Spence McCraken (Opelika HS, long time Lee-Montgomery coach of state champions), or even David DuBose, Bill Curry, or Doug Barfield.

Who would you like to see coach? He could run have run the option next year if he had not run his mouth about how silly Alabama was for running it after the blowout last year.

Since Terry Bowden should have never been fired, I wouldn't mind seeing Lionel (Little Train) James get a shot, but it won't happen. I really couldn't tell you who are the up and coming hot coaches right now as I could tell you in hoops. I would open up the wallet for Frank Beamer of Va Tech though (highly unlikely). A real long shot, Doug Williams of Grambling (former SuperBowl winner, will not catch Eddie Robinson's mark ever).

I got to agree with you on Terry Bowden. I'm not sure Beamer is the man. He does well in a wek conference where he only has one really tough game a year. I think he is scared because he has sure had the chance to leave. Tommy Bowden may be looking to move. Belloti or Neuhisel (sp) also.
