    All the reviews I've read have been positive so far. Might be hard seeing someone other than Wayne as Rooster Cogburn but the reviewers say Bridges pulls it off well.

    Well it does sound like a good film. If you like old fashioned westerns. But the original is the original as they say.

    The Coen Bros said they were not making a remake but rather were making the movie relative to the book... per Matt Damon. I have never read the book, but might now.

    Jeff Bridges is a fabulous actor and the Coen brothers will make a different movie--they never follow the same Hollywood path.

    If you like Westerns, and try not to compare the two versions, I'll be shocked if you will be disappointed. My BIL worked on this film as a cameraman (whatever they call that position), and his opinion is I'll love it.
