Yes, you did. I posted all of them during the initial argument, which you can find if you look for the thread, or I can post them all again if you're actually keeping an open mind about it.

    2005 McCree 74 tackles 3 picks 7 pass defenses
    2004 Branch 41 tackles 3 picks 5 pass defenses
    per NFL.com

McCree seemed to be in on a lot more plays than Branch, his stats seem to back that up. I do not remember a running back mowing McCree over like Mcallister did to Branch.

I looked at the thread today. I did not see specific numbers about yards and yards/attempt. If you posted them, I didn't see them. Either way, no point in being callous about it.

To be fair to Branch, the inequity in tackles was largely due to the fact that Branch was a FS, and McCree was a SS. McCree played the run at the line quite a bit, and much more than Branch did in 2004.

McCree is a better tackler that than Branch. McCree brings a more physical presence to the table. But it's the whole apples v. oranges deal. Yes...the safeties are somewhat interchangable in this system. I liked what I saw more in 2005 than in 2004, and much kudos to Lucas for that, too.
