Good fit? Too old? Need him?

He's reportedly going to test the market this spring. Could we, or would we, consider moving Minter back where he belongs (SS), and plugging Vincent in at FS? This might be feasable if Spoon and McCree both leave. Even if McCree stays, it might work.

I don't follow the Bills often, so I don't know how he fared last season. I know he will be 35 in June, and that's a little scary. In all likelihood, it won't happen. But I remember Vincent showing interest after 2003, before signing with Buffalo.

Dude all but begged us to sign him last time, for some reason we had no interest. now a year or two older I doubt that would change.

One year, $500,000 and knowledge that he would be competing for a spot and I would be game...

    I would rather re-sign McCree.

He was playing corner the last go-round. He's since moved to safety.

With that said, I don't see it.

Vincent actually played quite well at free safety for the Bills and we would be a much better defense if we did bring him in. That said, Wp28 is correct that it isn't going to happen.

Even if Vincent would play better than what we currently have, his age is too much of a concern for us to want to sign him unless it is for the league minimum.

He would be the third to come to Carolina, bank his signing bonus, and retire in training camp. :banginghe
