    my generation's Dwight Evans, although my father still thinks Trot has a ways to go. remember Laschelle Tarver? Trot Nixon is the guy who panned out.

    I think that is a stretch - at least until he keeps it up like this for 15 more years or so. And even then, he'll never have Dewey's arm. But this is the kind of guy that championship teams have. I was about to give up on him - but he has come through clutch this year.

    Trot's already 29..i doubt he'll be around long enough to to have a career like Dwight Evans.
