No shit. The NL played a hell of a game to have this bum give up three hits and the game. Garner should have yanked him after the second hit IMO

What's that....10 straight years the NL has gone without a win.

The world series is about as bad.....four game sweeps by the AL.

And don't get me started about inter league play this year....The AL killed the NL.The AL teams are just superior at this point. It may change one day,but for now it is a fact....the NL has some catching up to do.

If this was a regular season game this rally would have never happened. That hit that went past the third baseman to start the rally would have been dove for in the regular season. I don't know who the third baseman for the NL was at the time, but he could have played that ball. The groud rule double, well Lee could have possibly played that also. Beltran would have played Young's "Triple" a little better had this been anything but an exhibition game. Kudos to the AL for winning home field advantage for their representative in the World Series.

I don't think he threw below 96 in the first inning. That inning was one of the best displays of power pitching I have seen in a while. Vlad took some of the heat away, but he is a bad ball hitter anyway. No one else would have swung at that ball.

Trevor Hoffman should have taken off his cleats and sliced Miguel Cabrera and Carlos Lee's throats. It reminded me of the defense played in an NBA all star game.
