    1. Not after they brought in Smith to be developed.
    2. He burned the bridges pretty bad there between the love boat and asking for more money after his injury.
    3. Correct.

Sure does. And Green's really not starting quality anymore.

    Dolphins | Culpepper released
    Tue, 17 Jul 2007 13:17:17 -0700

The Miami Dolphins have announced they have terminated the contract of QB Daunte Culpepper.

Guess now we get to find out where he lands.

I think the Falcons are full up on QBs, so I'd be surprised if they were very interested. Besides Harrington, Petrino coached Redman while OC at Louisville.

I know they have Redman, who's fine as a 3rd just as Harrington is fine as a 2. It's shaky, though, without Vick. I'd personally consider another alternative.

Of course, it's debateable if Culpeper is a solid alternative either.

The Patriots will sign him and convert him to WR.

I think Culpepper's glory days are over. That destruction of his knee looks like it's killed his career. Unless he's playing behind an OL that never let's any pressure get through (and where does that exist) he's a sitting duck back there. Looks like the Falcon's may be the third team that gets to experience whether Harrington will ever figure out how to be an NFL starting QB....

I agree. It's not that Culpepper is going to be up to his past form, but someone will take a look. Not that Atlanta is a great situation, or a great fit, or that Culpepper is worth looking at, but someone will, certainly.
