Transfer music from ipod touch to PC/itunes

    ok, so I had to format my PC.....so how do you transfer music from your ipod touch back to your PC and into Itunes? Anybody used a 3rd party software to do this?

    i have called itunes help on the phone 3x and they happily and easily talked me through this and a couple of other issues. the people i spoke to were easy to deal with and it was free.

    Was this all purchased itunes music or was some of it from your own CDs?

    i have never purchased from itunes, all of it was from my personal music collection.

    I personally hate ITunes and use a software called Media Monkey

    Yeah, I fould some 3rd party software for my personal stuff and use itunes for purchased items only.
