Training camp coverage sucks.

I don't know if its the Olympics taking attention away or just a lack of local reporters that work primarily on the Panthers since cutback, but I remember hearing WAY more info outta camp in the past. Very little this year. I'm sure a lot of it in the past was filler, but simple stuff like "Things you may not know about Josh Norman." or something like that would be nice.

 

Kuechly looks lost. Coaches were having to explain drills and shit to him.

Norman looked good before tweaking hammy.

Byron Bell is HUGE.

Cam had some nice throws.

Barnidge and Olsen both had some nice catches.

No WR besides 89 really stood out.



2nd hand info from a ****** I work with that wend down for practice Monday and Tuesday. Take it with a grain of salt though he was probably watching their asses more than watching practice.

And in case he reads this the ****** is a term for a homosexual.

A lot of this is with a grain of salt. They'll say "so and so has been very good today and is now in the hunt for the #2 job" and it's more or less that the guy had a nice catch in traffic.

 

I love that NFLN is doing camp coverage all day. They have done a few Panthers camp visits. I think the only reason they do is Cam, but so be it. I wonder how many times per minute they say Cam Newton. It must suck to not have it.

 

Since Yas left no one has been capable of analysis, and only Gantt had the ego to fake it.

 

I just think there was more intrigue last year. Cam's first year, new coaching staff, etc. Some were wondering if Cam could even handle a snap under center. Less question marks this year.

That's part of the reason why I stopped caring about it. There's always scrubs who look great and then turn to shit during the games. I just hope we get through it healthy.
