    Why not put it in perspective?

    UNCC population 20K +

    Duke population 6K +

    Wake Forest 3K +

    I'd say this is pretty important when considering the educational value of a school. Hell my high school was almost as big as Duke at 5K students.

    Then measure the cost of the University. Duke is about 10 times the cost of UNCC. Guess what? I don't need the Duke status to get a job. College is nothing more than an item on your resume, once your in the door it's all on you. Funny part is most private school graduates go to work for daddy anyway, so why bother with the degree?

    I've beat Duke, Wake Forest and Carolina grads out of jobs plenty of times. If you want to hang your hat on a private university that banks on your alumni statis, then go for it. I'd prefer to get the education and move on to bigger and better things.
