I would say the most important thing with that high of a pick is to get an impact player. If it shakes out that Richardson is there and is the best player by a big enough margin, we take him and sort things out later. Goodsen is gone, Stewart may be too, it could work out.

no reason to take a back. If Richardson's there, maybe trade value is.

    Sit tight at # 9.
Cleveland's going to go idiot and draft Tannehill at 4 ( the Dolphins will make them panic), and Clairborne is going to fall to us at 9.

Maybe we can bait Jones into a trade.

I think the Jets are intrigued by Coples as well.

We have a history of trading with them.

would not be opposed in the least bit to dropping back to 14th or 16th...any idea what we could expect to receive as compensation? a 3rd perhaps? shit throw in a punter while you're at it...

you guys are really enjoying that Clairborne dream huh . .. Just really feeling like DT will be the broken record and they will take either Brockers or Cox, unless maybe Coples drops to 9.

this is probably the only even remote possibility but if Coples IS there at 9 we should probably take him. I feel better about Coples after seeing the link below:

As far as DT is concerned, hopefully Edwards stays healthy and at least one of our young DTs will be significantly better this season . . . or we will continue to get run over and our LBs will continue to get hurt trying to slow down the stampede
