the 9 slots sucks, anyway I look at it..

what would be the preference if they make a trade, up - down? targets?

looked at the trade value chart and thinking they could swap with Cleveland for the #4, would cost the Panthers the #40, probable also getting a 4th back from Cleveland.

targeting Claiborne, hoping they're looking to drop back and Tennehill.

If they are looking to do that, then our pick is no good. Miami has a good chance of picking him at 8.

In general, we have too many needs to trade up I think, unless you believe Claiborne is the next Revis.

i think we could still trade down. it would take some team talking themselves into believing someone was worth it, and, hey, we're still a month away, plenty of time for that!

If RB Richardson falls to #9 maybe the Bengals might be willing to trade up to get him.

Given Marty's history of trading first round picks, I would prefer to just stand pat at # 9. Just take BPA and move on. Under the new CBA its not as much of a killer from a salary cap perspective anyway.

My gut tells me we will end up with Coples.

I'd like to trade down and get a S with some size and pick up a second rounder.

Or maybe we draft him to compete with DW, Stew and Tolbert.....

Or Stewart is gone on draft day and we could use a badass young RB under our control at a reasonable price.

Still feels like poor resource allocation.
