    Sox got themselves a Starting pitcher, Jeff Suppan. Epstein has been impressive in gettting the pieces needed to make a run this year.

    They also got Lyon back after trading him to the Pirates last week. That is weird.

    I thought about that, but if that was the case they would have had to do a deal for another player, because teh comish's office had already approved that trade. And the red sox disputed that his elbow was screwed. Basically, the red sox got 2 major league pitchers for a good 2nd base prospect. I'll take that.

    Yup we gave them back the prospect we got in the Saurbeck deal. But still the bullpen was both the Yankees and Red Sox major area of need and I can honestly say Epstein did a better job of adressing the team's need the Cashman. Should be a tight race the rest of the way.

    And a little tidbit for the Braves fan, looks like you lost out on Ponson. He's going to the Giants
