Lester and Gomes to #Athletics for Cespedes, per @alexspeier.

WOW! Why would the A's give Cespedes up for a 2 month rental. Lester has all but said he is coming back

    FUCK RUBEN AMARO!!
He is MLBs equivalent to Hurney. He should have at the least trade Paplebon for a box of soiled condoms.

Lester is not going back to Boston unless they dramatically increase their offer, otherwise an extension would have happened for the trade. The A's gave up Cespedes because they had no more great prospects and he was going to be a free agent after next season.

He is a terrible GM, but no teams wanted Papelbon even with Philadelphia picking up most of the remaining money. That contract is too big.

I had read detroit was very interested in Papelbon. Grid warned me about Papelbon. He is a complete douche. My biggest hope is Amaro is cut loose at the end of the season

There were a lot of suggestions by people on the internet that Detroit might be interested, but the only Phillies player we know they were interested in was Bastardo, who is left-handed. I can't imagine the Tigers wanting Papelbon at any price, especially after getting Soria.
