I just bought 4 tires for my wife's car. This is the first time I've had to do this. Should I have just sold it? :sadbanana:

Had the same problem in my wife's '01 Tundra. Did all the standard stuff(never replaced them though)

Finally ordered a set of High Quality slotted rotors on the Internet, $90 each. Good High quality matching ceramic brake pads. Installed them myself in 2 hours in the driveway.... problems all gone. Been running a year now with not pulsing anymore... I think the heat buildup was the problem.

    Thanks CMM....

...for your expertise. As a class clown, I figured on some of the other TBR clowns to poke a little fun at me, and I'm cool with that. Shoot, I encourage it. Chris, Pres., Chip, are good at it! :laugh3:
    I'm going with ceramic. Fishman.

heat build up is exactly it, especially when you're driving and it starts raining or you hit the car wash...

something else to consider, stop using spray & rinse rim cleaners... but if you had ceramic pads, you wouldn't need that stuff either because you wouldn't have black brake dust all over your fronts

as for turning the rotors, some places will turn the rotors while still mounted to get a truer rotation... highly recommended
