Chip and I have the same idea of what the survey should have been about. The top 10 in that survey are mostly popular, not necessarily the best. Notice it said 'readers and celebrities'. I wonder how many of the readers and celebrities really have a broad palette of music exposure.

I didn't put B.B. on my list because, frankly, he's a one trick pony. Other than the fact that he has the best vibrato in the business, his solos don't really have that much to say.

Slash over Eddie?? No way. Steve Vai I really don't care for too much. Where's Eric Johnson or Joe Satraini.
