    Serious basketball fans know who we are. But the casual fan who only follows their team/conference and reads the top 25 doesn't. Here is a quote from the Bama message board,

    "In the Tide’s 2nd nationally televised game (Fox Sports), Bama will host the Charlotte 49ers (3-1). Don’t let the name allow you to think cakewalk cause this will be far from a walk in the park."

    So no, I'm not joking. We still need our name in front of people as many times as possible.

    No love for the Niners. We get the (mine)shaft again with only 7 and 9 votes when 10 times as many are needed to crack either Top 25.

    Loserville loses their only game and gets 62 and 99 votes while Utah loses 2 games to ranked opponents on a neutral court and still gets 13 votes.

    It always seems like someone steals our thunder and this week it was GT and Ioway.

    We WILL crack the Top 25 before we are done. We usually start slow while new team members learn the system, get to know each other skill wise and begin to gel. If not for Withers riding the pine (I'm not criticizing the punishment) we would have hit the ground running and be 4-0 with a ranking already. This team has it. You can feel it. If they focus and do as Coach says, they can beat any team in America on a good night. 'Aint parity grand?
