As a young man i saw the exorcist and slept with a baseball bat for a week. As i grew older I came to enjoy watching the movie with no problems. I bought the special dvd with the deleted scenes and the part where she spider crawls down the steps freeked me out

I watched The Exorcist on Christmas Eve, 1991 while I was wrapping Christmas gifts. I was not a Christian then, but I never wanted to go to church so bad in my life. That movie scared the crap out of me. I've only watched two other movies that have kept me up nights -- A Nightmare on Elm Street and The Devil's Advocate.

To this day, I think Linda Blair's performance in that movie was the best performance by a child actor in a movie ever.

That would be interesting to see. I've now watched The Devil's Advocate enough times to appreciate the philosophy of it, but it's still creepy.
