I could take Clausen. Both he and Dorsey have the ability to be able to execute any offense in the way asked of them, but Clausen has measurables where Dorsey has immeasurables. I could enjoy him here.

Better than recent years, depth wise, IMO.

It's not as strong if the Manning and Clausen stay in a year. But both are ready, both are first round guys.

I can easily see Palmer being this year's Joey Harrington.

Beyond them, you've got plenty of guys that look the part, but haven't quite put it together. And then there's Dorsey, who has it together, but doesn't look the part.

Leftwitch is the top guy though. Top QB to go.

Math. David. Phillip. Don't they just rotate???

    Heh.

    Stats.....better than Manning

    Arm.....better than Manning

    Vision, Accuracy, Poise.....equal to Manning

And don't tell me Clausen has better supporting cast. Manning had Price and Lewis, amoung others.

So if Clausen isn't first round, why was Manning?

Clausen's name is Clausen - not Manning. That's a big reason why. Sorry Piper, but I don't see it either. Clausen reminds me of Dorsey. Smart kid with good skills on a good team. Someone may take a flyer in the late rounds, but first round? Not in today's NFL.

Manning and Rivers will stay in school.

Leftwich is a given to go first round. Past that I'd say the only person on this list that MIGHT - and it's a big might - go 1st round is Simms. And that's only if Texas can run the table and not have Chris continually throw the ball to the other team in big games like he has done over and over for 2-3 years now. If Texas delivers, he might get snagged on the combo of his name and a decent season.
