Miami has too many question marks. FSU wins that one - and it should be lopsided IMO.

I am going with FSU as well. Their overall team speed is a lot better. And while I can't stand Rix, if he keeps his head in the game he is the better QB.

I don't gamble but I wouldn't give any team ranking above another team 7+ points. Miami does play too their competition too much and Miami still has ridiculous raw talent on that team. Payton's a decent back with good straight line speed and Geathers has good quickness and can make some big plays.

The reason I see FSU winning is Miami lacks discipline right now and Berlin goes through long dry spells where he looks lost and is wild with his throws. Neither of those back above are near Frank Gore's talent and Gore was a bit of a security blanket for the offense. Offense starts sputtering, ok give it to Frank. Thats gone now.

FSU should win this game on the ground. Run it a lot and use play action for big plays. Amazingly Miami hasn't stopped the run for the last 2 years. FSU should be able to run all day.

FSU is going to drill them. Payback is a bitch.

See also Shocker. Miami can't stop the run.

i see all of those reasons that fsu should win.

however, i remember more than a few times that fsu was a big favorite and lost. rememebr, they were supposed to whack oklahoma in the orange bowl. unfortunately, fsu forgot to tell the receivers they actually had to CATCH the ball...

fsu was favored to beat notre dame last year. lost. big-time.

fsu plays better in big games as the underdog.

is this the GAmeday featured game? If it is, I'll reserve judgement until I see Corso don the mascot's head. Whichever he picks, go the opposite way.

:lol2: That's good. I think he is actually doing pretty well this year - but those head gear picks do not include the spread.

Have faith Larry. As long as FSU has the sense to put the game in the hands of the RB's and not Rix, y'all should do just fine. The total is down to 50 - which is the lowest I can remember for this game in a while. I'm gonna have to look that up later. If THE MAN thought the Miami O was as good as usual, that number would be higher.
