    today, it was another chapter in the book that is his ineptitude. he seems to have issues with deciding when and when not to pit. usually it is the wrong call and its getting old. look back the the race at indy when he decided to stay out and risk a blown tire vs. pitting with the field...resulting in a top 5 car having to pit under green with a flat and scrambling from the rear all day. then today, he failed to pit with the field again, throwing the 88 outta sequence with the field. watkins glen being a road course, he had no chance to regain ground.....race over for the 88.

    eury may know mechanics but gets his ass handed to him regularly when it comes to managing a race. i do realize that jr. isnt the best driver on the circuit but he could definately benefit from a compentent crew chief. eury needs to go.

    Ain't the #88 second in points? That ain't bad. It'd be tough to fire a crew chief getting those kind of results.

    yep, but i do see where QC is coming from...to a point.

    we got to talking about it at work today and the general consensus was that he was trying too hard to outsmart everybody else, like he feels some kinda need to try that shit in order to gain an edge. but it usually backfires on him, and its certainly not needed, not with that ride. probably the worst thing that coulda happened was the gas milage victory at michigan. now, i guess he thinks he's some kind of mike martz of nascar. i can just imagine the rest of the guys at hendrick, and around the garage at the track, laughing behind his back. personally, i think he's a goober and i hope he gets his ass fired.
