I have read rumors that the Bobcats will try to trade into the draft. I assume late first round or second round would be the target. My question is who would they target. They need a point guard if Felton is gone. They need a big man too but neither of those things look to be available late in the draft.

Two trades in the books. Basically giving the players and picks away to get more cap space. Both Miami and Chicago now have enough cap space to sign 2 max players

Damn, that would have been nice to get that Kurt Heinrich + 17 deal.

    Calipari :barf2:

He said this draft was the biggest thing ever for Kentucky basketball.

Hilarious. I'd love to see UK fans reaction to that.

5 in the first 30 picks is pretty impressive (not as impressive as 4 in the top 13) but it's nowhere near the 'biggest thing ever' for UK basketball.

Disappointed the Bobcats didn't make a move. Hassan Whitehead plummeted out of the first round (he was considered lottery at one point.) I was hoping we'd trade up to snag him.

Looks like Zoubeck did not get drafted. I think he has a shot at being a decent back up in the NBA. A guy you put in to rebound and foul the other team's superstar at center.

Yep, I'd like to see him here if we could get rid of one of the stiffs we are paying $5 mil a season for. Diop, I'm looking at you.

Wonder when the last time a National Champion didn't have any players drafted? I'm pretty sure no one on UNLV 90 was drafted, of course they all came back for another run. I think 6 players from that team were drafted eventually (2 centers, 4 starters, everyone but Anderson Hunt who came out too early.)

Coach K probably did his best coaching job this past season.

I figured Scheyer would get drafted somewhere. I do not think he will do much in the NBA but I figured someone would give him a shot.

I never thought Scheyer had a shot to be drafted. He doesn't do any one thing well enough to be a proficient NBA player.

I'd love for him to prove me wrong but I don't see it at all. Great college kid though and a hell of a winner. He's the type of kid you would love to have on your bench, if he could help you.

edit: Of course Singler would have been drafted if he came out. Nolan Smith has a good shot to get drafted next year as well. It's just weird that a team that won didn't get anyone drafted the year after. I'm sure Florida falls into that category too after their first NC, pretty sure everyone came back for another shot.
