UNC Charlotte has a better football program than Duke.

They call Chuck mediocre because the vast majority of State fans think he's the next Bear Bryant.

Bear Bryant ???? No but the "vast majority" do like the fact that his teams are COMPETITIVE every week. No more of this 77-17 stuff or 56-3 or 62- whatever UVA hung on them when Ocain was there. They are IN it. The "vast majority" also appreciate the fact that he ain't backing down from UNC in recruiting in the state of North Carolina.. Ocain would just let Mack Brown and his shenanigans go, and let Brown cherrypick the state, then we get the leftovers. Those days are gone also evidenced by A.J Davis Mario Williams, Demario Pressley, and now Toney Baker etc.etc.. Going to FSU with a BCS birth on the line used to be a pipe dream, and even more of a dream was playing them to double OT on their field in that big of a game. Did they win ....No and then we have to hear shit about finishing 4th from schools that play a close game about 1/2 the time. But what is it they say, Tis better to have been in the race and failed than to not have raced at all. Don't think Chuck is Bear Bryant.....but we could do much worse.

Thompson, Payton and Cruz all are leaving their commitments. Cruz leaving makes me think the writing on the wall for Hannah to play TE is about to happen. Peyton is leaving because his scholarship was conditional as to Baker or Hardesty coming to Carolina, and Thompson didn't like that UNC added 2 more QBs other than him to a group of already young guys. A Senior, Sophmore and a Redshirt Freshman. And then add the other 2 (Sexton and the 6-3 kid that might move to linebacker who I can't remember his name right now.)
