    My wife managed to stay awake during this movie, which generally means it's pretty good.

    I didn't realize the Emporer was such a wuss, though.

    This movie made me cry dammit. I too was skeptical about Tom C. in this role, but it turned out to be a really good movie.

    Does the Emperor remind anyone of J.P. Losman with that whiney ass voice of his?

    tom cruise is 5'2". this movie was good in spite of him.

    I knew that, and it bothered me, but not enough to worry about it. I guess most Japanese folks are shorties, too.
