Fuck yeah I'm happy with that. Strong's one of the guys I came in wanting.

Strong would be a great addition. Attitude, effort...he brings the whole package. If not, I'd like to get a second day FB for sure.
Hate to keep pimping him and sounding like a homer, but I really am not much of a Hawkeye fan. Still wouldn't mind seeing Jeremy Allen in Carolina though.

in rashard's case....anything to do with discs in the back and neck can sometimes be healed without surgery through rehab. surgery isn't always the best long term answer because it often times mean fusing discs together and thus decreasing flexibility. A good example is a hocky player name Uwe Krupp (Avalanche..now with the Wings). He retired instead of having surgery and rehabbed his back for two years. he cameback this year with a completely healthy back...although he has missed most of the season with a shoulder injury.

Stephen Boyd is another player who took time off and elected to not have surgery.

Teams typically want the players to have surgery because it gets them back on the field faster...

didn't andy katzenmoyer take last year off for his neck to heal instead of surgery?
