He's not gay. I will say if for a 5th or 6th time. I sat behind his girlfriend at the Ravens playoff game last year. Not to mention his dad's a hair cutting preacher NOT a priest. The question came up in Pittsburgh and Kordell refused to comment, because he didn't see the relavence. Finally he addressed the entire team, because it was distracting other players. He made it known that he was not gay and that he didn't want the issue to be brought up again. If you bothered watching him on Rome you would see that he has taken a beating in the media, but continued to play through the adversity. Not many Qbs go through the beating he took and survive.

There was a rumor on another site that there was a deal proposed that involved trading Kordell for Will Witherspoon and who knows what else? My experience with trade rumors is that they're almost always some adolescent fan's fantasy. If it was true, I wouldn't want the deal. I could easily see 'Spoon staying in the middle, Morgan going back outside and Navies playing cap casualty next year. But if we could get Stewart reasonably, resign Peete and draft a qb first day, I think that would be a significant upgrade.

Keep WW. I'd put him weakside though, and keep Morgan in the middle.

Damn it MAN! Can you guys not READ! I never said to trade Kordell for Witherspoon. I said giving up a 3rd round pick would be like giving up Steve Smith or Witherspoon. Point was a starting QB for a back up LB is not a bad tradeOFF! I never said anything about trading Witherspoon for Kordell.

The bigger point is that by trading our 3rd or 4th pick we don't waste a 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th pick on a rookie Qb that will not play for atleast a year and will struggle when he does start.

I kind of got in on the tail end of that thread so if it was your thread and we misunderstood your point, our bad. But chill out! It's just a sports message board, for crying out loud.

The Steelers have four damn good linebackers anyway. They overpaid for Farrior to not do much so to get Witherspoon wouldn't make a damn anyway.

  7. Agreed Mags on the Steelers having 4 solid LBs. But I bet they'd take that trade in a minute. In the 3-4, you can never have enough bad-ass LBs. WW is fast, and though a little smaller than my old favorite Kirkland, would fit right in.
